Public school students as early as Kindergarten may elect to take part in a Released Time Bible education class. Students study the Bible devotionally during the school day, led by experienced Bible teachers who carefully plan age-appropriate lessons, and escorted by trusted volunteers.
Students learn about God’s love for them, hear Bible stories, make crafts that go along with the lessons and have fun! Elementary school Released Time teachers are often retired public school teachers who understand students’ needs and abilities, and in this Released Time setting, now can openly encourage students with the love of Christ.
Hoping you have chosen a solid curriculum for the elementary school level? You might find School Ministries’ new curriculum assessment tool to be helpful. Plus we can offer suggestions of curriculum used by other Released Time groups around the state.
